Friday 8.45am - 12.45pm
Salary: depending on qualification and experience
A full and relevant childcare qualification level 3 or a full and relevant childcare qualification level 2 may be considered for the right person who would be looking at progressing to a level 3 in the future. Must be able to work all the hours stated above. You will need to have GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
Paediatric First Aid – essential.
Food Hygiene – desirable
We are a committee, run pack away playgroup that offers sessional sessions. We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our friendly team. Someone who will promote our values of high quality standards across the playgroup. We are seeking someone who is forward thinking, motivated and committed to the needs of the children in our care. You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and written and have a secure knowledge of EYFS.
The role involves becoming a key person ensuring the care and development needs of the children are fully met at all times. You will need to have experience of planning and delivering a range of activities that stimulate, challenge and engage children. Your role would also include on-going assessments and how to move your child forward to meet their full potential and completing learning journals online through tapestry (training will be given). Please note this role involves heavy lifting, some unpaid out of work hours, toileting and outside duty in all weathers. You would need to be available to attend any relevant training that we feel may support you.
